1. Membership Terms & Conditions

1.1 Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals 18 years and older.
Those under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
Each member must register truthfully and maintain up-to-date details.
Reel League reserves the right to approve, suspend, or revoke membership at its discretion.

1.2 Membership Access & Fees

Membership is subscription-based, billed monthly or annually.
Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated under the Refund Policy.
Continued participation requires active and current payment status.
Competitions or events carry separate entry fees or ticket costs.

1.3 Competitions & Entry Rules

Only active, paid members may purchase event tickets to participate.
Each competition includes published rules, entry windows, validation methods, and prize details.
Photo entries must include official Reel League criteria including ruler, clear measurement, and date/time verification.
Submissions suspected of manipulation, falsification, or breach of rules will be disqualified and are subject to legal action, and memberships of such will be revoked and permanently banned from all future participation.

1.4 Ethical Fishing Practices

Members must comply with local fishing laws, catch limits, and conservation ethics.
Catch-and-release is encouraged wherever possible and we enjoy sharing this policy to create awareness and grow the practice globally.
Any conduct causing harm to wildlife, ecosystems, or fellow members may lead to immediate suspension.

1.5 Leaderboards, Verification & Prizes

All results are subject to review and approval by Reel League moderators.
Moderator decisions are final and binding.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.
Winners will need to provide ID and proof of membership and validation before claiming prizes.

1.6 Content Use & Media Rights

By submitting content (photos, videos, stories), members grant Reel League a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for marketing, leaderboards, and promotional purposes.
Members retain ownership but agree that Reel League may display or repost their content.
All content must be original and not infringe any third-party rights.

1.7 Community Conduct

Members agree to act respectfully and uphold sportsmanship, integrity, and camaraderie.
Harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content will result in removal.
Unauthorized use of the Reel League name, logo, or materials is prohibited.

1.8 Liability Disclaimer

Fishing and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Members participate at their own risk.
Reel League, its partners, or affiliates are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage during any competition or event.
Members are responsible for their own safety, equipment, and legal compliance.

1.9 Policy Updates

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
